Dr. William Booker D.C.
Dr. William Booker D.C. holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Cleveland College of Chiropractic, Los Angeles. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, where he graduated with a major in psychology and a minor in Biology.
After completing his internship in Philadelphia, Dr. Booker relocated to Arlington to open the first Capitol Rehab inside of Gold’s Gym. Dr. Booker established Capitol Rehab-Arlington as the flagship for what would be the eventual opening of eight additional Capitol Rehabs located throughout Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.
Dr. Stewart Gillespie
Following his graduation and internship in New York, Dr. Gillespie moved to the DC area in 2005. Dr. Gillespie is full body certified in Active Release (ART) and specializes in nutrition and weight loss. Currently he is finishing his Diplomate for the American Board of Clinical Nutrition as well as becoming a Certified Functional Medicine provider. Dr. Gillespie utilizes specific techniques, including laboratory testing, to identify underlying nutritional deficiencies and metabolic imbalances that limit performance, and may be at the root of pain and disease. Dr. Gillespie is available Monday-Friday for nutritional consultation, chiropractic and ART.
J. Lyn Stewart, Physical Therapist (MSPT)
Lyn Stewart holds a Bachelor of Science, and Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. She worked as a physical therapist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, and at National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, D.C., before joining Capitol Rehab in 1996.
Ms. Stewart has many years of clinical experience and extensive continuing education in the field of integrative manual therapy. She uses a biomechanical approach to rehabilitation, treating muscle imbalance, joint and soft tissue dysfunction, and utilizes functional retraining to treat a variety of conditions. Ms. Stewart also has a special interest in women’s health issues.
Dr. Edward Beck, DC
Dr. Beck received his doctorate in chiropractic from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA. He completed his Bachelors of Science degree from Concordia University in Exercise Science majoring in Adapted Physical Activity. While at Concordia he volunteered with different organization from the YMHA to the Golden Age Association.
After completion of his doctorate degree he worked in Winamac, Indiana with a practice specializing in the Gonstead system of chiropractic. Dr. Beck has completed many hours of certification from the Gonstead seminar based in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Hatch received a Doctorate in Chiropractic from University of Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon and completed a double major in History and Biology at Eastern Washington University, with a minor in Psychology. As a resident of Virginia for the last few years, Dr. Hatch’s patients benefit greatly from his employ of therapeutic techniques which help those he treats see maximum results. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Hatch enjoys many outdoor activities. He also enjoys working with athletes at all levels and ages, having volunteered his time and services at marathons, triathlons, track and field and a variety of other sporting events.
Barbara Fallon Wallace, MSPT, DPT
Ms. Barbara Fallon Wallace holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She completed her undergraduate studies at The College of William and Mary where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business.
While at William and Mary, Ms. Fallon Wallace was a decorated athlete on the NCAA Division IA level in both cross-country and track. Today, Ms. Fallon Wallace continues to pursue her passion for running and is one of the top female runners in the Washington metropolitan area. Ms. Fallon Wallace joins Capitol Rehab with a background in healthcare consulting and reimbursement, along with expertise in diagnosing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal and biomechanical impairments.
Elizabeth Young, PT
Elizabeth Young earned her degree in Physical Therapy at the University of New Mexico. A clinical veteran with more than 30 years of experience using manual therapy, she treats with compassion and excellence specializing in rehabilitation of sports-related and orthopedic injuries, TMJ and women’s health issues. Mrs. Young is a certified teaching assistant and translator for Mechanical Link in the USA and has translated two books from French into English: “Mechanical Link: Diagnosis and Treatment of Arteries and the Autonomic Nervous System” and “Mechanical Link: Osteopathic Lesions of Bone.” Mrs. Young is athletic and is also a competitive swing dancer.
